A career spanning almost 25 years in the Music business is how I would like to introduce myself. Born and educated in Sri Lanka, I first was introduced to music by my Parents. We would sing at House Parties at Church or on any occasion where families like ours used to meet. Even today there is this same sense of singing if ever there should be an occasion.

I then tried a hand at playing an Instrument and the Guitar was the only available source of rhythm. Within a short time I was able to play tunes and sing along. By this time I wanted to learn to play a Piano because I was fascinated about the sound and the playing techniques. Started learning to read music, but use to play tunes by not looking at Notes. Not really the best thing to pursue.

This was all I did during the next teen years of my life until one day I was asked if I was interested in performing with a real Band. This was when things got serious and I decided that this was what I needed to do. The even bigger deal was when I was offered to perform in Switzerland to which I agreed. Throughout all these years I have meet and moved around with lots of people some of whom are still very close to me. It is because of these Guys that I decided to put together some Material for my Site.

Music in Switzerland was a real challenge. We had to learn to live together and start adapting ourselves to a different way of life. After doing almost 4 Years as a Professional Musician I called it quits and started doing Music as a hobby. It was now time for me to think about family and performing only on weekends used to support me financially as well.

During a period of almost 12 years I performed in various formations and collected a huge amount of knowledge as an entertainer. As Techniques in the Music Industry developed the need to be able to perform as a soloist was what has helped shape the last 6 years of my music career. The Audience that I perform for is small, mostly Swiss and as a soloist I could fit into even a very small Restaurant.

My greatest strength is the ability to keep the Volume low while performing during Dinner and still keep playing songs that are suitable for listening pleasure. Swiss people hardly dance as we compare it to the Sri Lankan way of life, but I have always been recommended on several occasions.

I like to dedicate this Page especially to 2 people who have been really accompanying me through out the last 6 years. It's because of them that I am where I am and still lay my full trust in.
